Operetta, I could possibly get a train to Croton. What time and day?

I might be able to come, but I'm not familiar with ways to get there from NYC.
It says it's a 2 hour drive on gmaps so I imagine there might be a train alternative.

I will be flying in (to Newark) for about a week. I may get a rental car, and then I could give rides.

I will be driving there probably on Friday afternoon and driving back on Sunday. I am driving from Westchester and could take people in my car. (Conor, you're already on.) I don't want to drive to NYC but we could meet at a park and ride lot or train station somewhere in lower Westchester.

Thanks :)
I'll look something up very soon. Just need to ask/tell my parents about this, I'll have a definite answer by Tuesday.

A quick update, I can confirm I can come all 3 days. I found a bus that can take me to Blakeslee, and I can walk the last 2 miles.
If It's not too late you can add me to the list.
Scott I also sent you a pm

I now have flight reservations, so I'm definitely coming! :D

I will need to coordinate with people coming from the New York City area, though, to get there. I'll be staying with my brother in Jersey City before and after but can get a ride to somewhere more convenient to whoever is driving.

You can add me to the list:
Yar, definitely coming late on the 15th (sometime between 9pm-little past midnight) to mid afternoon 17th (3-3:30ish), have to drive myself unfortunately. I'll include the extra $10 for parking. I'll mail a check.

We'll need to work out sleeping arrangements at some point. The house sleeps 16. The webpage on the house says that it has six queen beds and two queen pull-out sofas, so that's 8 beds. We'll probably have 12-14 people, so we'll need to be creative with sleep space.

I'm bringing an air mattress and sleeping bag. If a few other people are willing to either bring an air mattress or sleeping pad or double up with a friend, that'll do it.

Some people are only staying 1 or 2 nights. We'll probably have 11-12 Friday night, 12-13 Saturday night, and 7 Sunday night.

I can bring 2 air mattresses. I think we'll figure something out.
